Car Rental Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 06 May 2025

Eligibility Age for Rental

• Minimum age required: 20 years with a valid driving license.
• Note: ₹1000 will be deducted if the renter doesn’t meet the minimum age requirement.

Required Documents

• Mandatory: Driving License, Voter ID/Aadhaar Card.
• Original documents must be shown at vehicle pickup; otherwise, booking is canceled with a minimum 1-day rental charge forfeited.

Payment & Security Deposit

• Security deposit varies by vehicle type.
• Accepted methods: Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI (select locations).
• Late payments or cancellations may incur additional charges.

Vehicle Collection

• Only the person named in the booking can collect the vehicle.
• A co-driver may collect it if registered during booking with valid documents.

Rental Period

• Minimum rental period: 8 hours from pickup time.
• Extensions allowed based on availability.

Vehicle Delivery & Return

• Must return to the agreed location.
• Return location may be flexible by mutual agreement.

Fuel Policy

• Return with the same fuel level.
• No refund for excess fuel.
• Incorrect fuel usage leads to extra charges.

Vehicle Documents Provided

RC, All India Permit, Insurance, Fitness Certificate, PUC, Self-drive authorization (Original/Copy)

Booking Extension Policy

• Must be requested in advance; subject to availability.
• Failure to extend: 50% penalty over and above the actual rental amount.

Late Return Policy

• 50% of hourly rental charged per extra hour.
• Next day return: 90% of per-day rental charged.

Vehicle Damage Policy

• User pays for all damage or repair costs.
• If beyond deposit, insurance claim may apply.
• Exclusions (user fully liable): Tyres, Windshield, Interior, Accessories, Crane charges.
• 50% of rental charged until vehicle is restored.

Outstation Travel

• Stop at RTO checkposts and pay taxes.
• User pays all tolls, fines, and penalties.

Traffic Violations

• User is responsible for all traffic fines and penalties.
• Violations reported after return may still be charged.

Early Return Policy

No refund for early return.

Cleanliness Policy

• No pets or damaging items allowed.
• 30% surcharge for cleaning or damage repair.
• No smoking, alcohol, or drugs inside vehicle.

GST & Charges

18% GST is included in rental charges.

Kilometer Limit Policy

• Fixed mileage based on rental duration.
• Extra km charges or unlimited km package option.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Based on booking ID:
• After 48 hrs of pickup: No refund.
• Within 2 days: 25% refund.
• Within 3 days: 50% refund.
• Within 4 days: 75% refund.
• At/after pickup: No refund (no-show).
• Hourly rentals: No refund.

Location Tracking & Privacy

• We use GPS tracking for service and security.
• Data may be shared with legal authorities if required.
• Calls may be recorded for quality assurance.

Rental Termination

Triself Cars reserves the right to terminate a booking without notice. We are not liable for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Dispute Resolution

All disputes will be settled by an Arbitrator appointed by Triself Cars.

Terms Modification

Vehicle Tracking

GPS tracking is enabled for all vehicles.

Account & Security

Users must keep login details secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized account access.

Insurance & Liability

• Basic insurance included.
• Optional add-ons: CDW, Theft Protection, Third-Party Liability.
• User is responsible for uninsured damages.

Vehicle Usage Restrictions

• No off-road driving, racing, or illegal activities.
• No towing or international travel.

Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

• Contact us immediately for issues.
• User is responsible for lost keys, flat tyres, battery jumps.

Misuse & Penalties

• Over speeding fines:
  1st: ₹500
  2nd: ₹1200
  3rd: ₹1500 (Total ₹2000)
  4th: Booking canceled.
• Unauthorized spare part change: ₹5000 + part cost
• Illegal activity (arms, drugs): ₹5000 fine
• External branding/painting: ₹5000 fine
• GPS/odometer tampering: ₹5000 + repair
• Water damage: Full repair cost
• Fake documents: ₹2000 fine
• Unauthorized zones/travel: ₹10,000 fine
